Choose the game you want to challenge your friends on. In the first edition, you'll be able to create challenges on Apex and Counter-Strike 2. More games will be added soon!
You can then select your preferred platform (PC, console). You can also indicate the platform you play on the most directly on your BitArena account, so other players are aware.
Next, select the game mode: 1V1 or 6V6 (depending on the game). Each game offers its own unique modes, and we have created rules based on specific modes. This means you won’t be able to choose every available mode in the game on BitArena.
Player Stakes: We recommend setting the optimal stake for the game. This is calculated by averaging the stakes from other matches in the same game. While this is just a suggested stake, you're free to set any amount you wish. If you plan to create a public match, remember that an attractive stake will help draw in players.
Don’t forget to always keep a reserve to cover transaction fees and potential dispute fees (10% of the total stake + transaction fees). This is why it's important to ensure you have the necessary funds in your wallet before starting a match.
Setting the start time for the challenge is important to allow others to join. By default, the minimum start time will be set to 15 minutes after the challenge is created to give players enough time to join and complete their transactions. You can schedule challenges days or weeks in advance.
A calendar will also be displayed to show your upcoming challenges.
Private or Public Mode: If you don't have any friends available for the challenge, you can set it to public, which will allow the match to start much more quickly. A link will be shared by the BitArena Bot on the corresponding Discord channel to facilitate quick filling of spots. On the site, the challenge listing will display the number of remaining spots.
Alternatively, the match can be private, for friends only. In this case, Twitch streaming is not necessarily required but can still be enjoyable for others to see what you're up to!
